Born and raised in the small dairy town of Riverdale, California, Steven Sanchez is anything but a simple small-town boy. He is a multi-faceted gentleman with a personality and passion for life that is not easily forgotten. Steven received his Bachelor’s in Communication from Fresno Pacific University and was hired on immediately after graduating. He held the role of Information Manager and Events Coordinator under the University Communications and Marketing Department. His job duties there allowed him to flourish as a young professional and leader.

Steven is constantly pushing towards what’s next - he has such a drive and desire to continually improve himself and his talents. These qualities led him to become a part of several community groups including: Leadership Fresno, Fresno’s Boomerang Project, and Fresno’s Social Media Club.

In the fall of 2015, Steven made a career change to follow his soul's desire for creativity and became an independent stylist at The Dandelion Salon + Barber Shop. In the short time since beginning his new career, his work has earned him a nation-wide award, as well as having been nationally published multiple times. He has the privilege of traveling throughout the year with John Paul Mitchell Systems while still maintaining a very full clientele.

Currently Steven works out of his own salon, UNCO, that opened on December 1, 2020.
